What is Planomark?
Planomark is a mobile app for field inspectors and surveyors. It lets you open a PDF floor plan, place numbered pins at points of interest, attach photos and notes, and generate a professional PDF report — all from your phone.
What does it cost?
Planomark is free to download. The free plan allows you to create a limited number of surveys and generate reports. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited surveys and reports.
Is there a one-time purchase option?
We currently offer monthly and annual subscriptions. Yes. In addition to monthly and annual subscriptions, we offer a one-time Lifetime purchase for $149, which includes all Pro features and future updates.
Using the App
What file formats are supported?
Planomark supports PDF files as floor plans. Photos attached to pins can be taken directly with your camera or selected from your gallery.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. Planomark works fully offline. All your data is stored locally on your device. No internet connection is required to create surveys, place pins, or generate reports.
How many pins can I place on a plan?
There is no limit to the number of pins you can place on a plan.
How many photos can I attach to a pin?
There is no limit to the number of photos per pin.
Can I edit a pin after placing it?
Yes. Tap any existing pin to edit it — you can update the description, add or remove photos, or move the pin to a different location.
How do I generate a report?
Open a survey in the viewer and tap the menu (⋮) → Report. The app will generate a professional PDF report with all your pins and photos. The report is automatically saved and can be shared via email, WhatsApp, or any other app on your device.
Reports
What does the generated report include?
The report includes a cover page with your profile information, the annotated floor plan pages with numbered pins, and a detailed photo page for each pin with its description and location thumbnail.
Where are my reports saved?
Reports are saved locally on your device. You can access the last generated report directly from the survey card on the home screen.
Can I generate multiple reports for the same survey?
Yes. Each report is saved with a timestamp so you can generate updated versions as work progresses.
Account & Data
Do I need an account to use Planomark?
No account is required. You can use the app immediately after downloading.
Is my data uploaded to the cloud?
No. All your surveys, photos, and reports are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your documents to any server.
How do I add my logo and company name to reports?
Go to Settings → enter your inspector name, company name, email, and upload your logo. This information will appear on the cover page of all generated reports.
Subscription
How do I upgrade to Premium?
Tap the upgrade button in Settings or when you reach the free plan limit. Payment is processed through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel at any time through your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
All your surveys, photos, and reports remain on your device. You will not lose any data.
Technical
The app is running slowly. What can I do?
Large PDF files with many high-resolution photos can require significant memory. Try using smaller PDF files or reducing the number of photos per pin.
My report is missing pages. What happened?
Make sure your PDF is not password-protected or corrupted. If the issue persists, contact our support team.
